I enjoy looking at the picture of you all waving your rainbow flags last Friday. What a colourful sight! I hope you have been waving them at home and displaying them in your windows. Lots of rainbows have been popping up in my village too. I have seen them on wheelie bins, gate-posts and even chalk rainbows on paths.I have also heard about the rainbow dance, all you need to do is get a colourful scarf ( ask an adult first) then you can make up your very own rainbow dance. Wear bright clothes as well so you really look like a rainbow. Then let that rainbow fly! 🌈 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
We also have a bit of a bear hunt going on near me too. Bears 🐻 in all shapes and sizes are popping up in windows. So you have to be very observant when you go on a walk because you might see a rainbow 🌈 a gorgeous cuddly bear 🐻 or both.
I have been busy in my garden and enjoying the nice weather outside. I have planted the seeds I got last Friday from a very kind person. I will let you know how they get on, but for now Gerald the goose seems very interested in them.
New number on the stable door today and I know that Charlie wishes he had this amount of carrots to eat during a week! He loves 🥕 carrots! Perhaps you could make up a word problem about carrots, this number and Charlie.
I hope the work in your learning packs is going well.
I have been re-reading a book I got a little while ago. The author lives locally and I was reminded about what a fine story it was, when I saw an illustration from it in Mrs Bryant’s blog. I found the book and had a lovely afternoon reading and enjoying the wonderful illustrations. I hope you are getting the opportunity to read and re-read lots of books. Don’t forget about books online too.
That’s all from me for the moment as I’m off to read another book, which is a diary about a pint sized farmer. I will share that with you on Friday, till then I leave you with a prayer.
Take care of yourself, look after your family and stay safe.
With love to you and your family.
