Good morning Year Three,
I have loved seeing and hearing about those of you who have attempted my fitness challenge, Alice and Monty – you didn’t even look out of breath afterwards… I will have to think of something even more challenging for next time!
I have received some wonderful emails and seen some very kind appreciation posts so thank you all for those. Jacob has written a wonderful report all about badgers, I loved reading it! If anyone else has completed any work that they would like me to see or read please email it to school or post it on Twitter, it will make my day!
One thing that you all know I am very particular about is handwriting. You have all made wonderful progress with your letter formation and joins this year but I want you to make sure you are continuing to practise your skills.
Today I only want you to focus on the first join.
The first join includes four sets of joins:
- ed, eg, as and as
- iu, ig, iy
- ar, an, am, ap
- aw, ew, ex, ux
I would like you to use lined paper, the back of your learning project books would be fine, then write down some words which will allow you to practise the first join. You could even select some of the words you have written and draw pictures of them to make you page look more attractive.
Finally, please be sure to hold your pencil or pen correctly too – froggy legs!
Stay safe and take care.
