Welcome to our School Council
Our School Council consists of two children from Year 3 to Year 6 elected by the other children. They meet regularly with Mrs Conlin and discussions range from arranging funding raising events to working with the Friends of All Saints to improve our outdoor environment.
The School Council have in the past organised a Pyjama Day for Children In Need; led an assembly on Cyber Bullying and introduced a Traidcraft Healthy Snack Shop, which they launched with an assembly on Fair Trade. The Snack Shop is run each morning break by the School Council members and it has proved to be very popular with the other children, with sales exceeding expectations!

The School Council worked with Alice Evans from the County Council to look at how our school could become more energy efficient. They learned about different ways of saving energy and held an assembly on Monday 7th March to share their findings with the rest of the school.
The School Council also encouraged everyone to try to walk to school at least once a week. Everyone who managed this received a badge at the end of each month and the class with the most walkers were able to display the ‘Class Champions’ trophy for a month.
