Over the past couple of weeks we have been very busy in Year Three!
In RE, we have started our new topic called ‘Choices’ and have been thinking about how to make the right decisions. We have acted out some scenarios showing how we can acknowledge our mistakes and make things right with others.
In English, we have written our own endings to The Minstrel And The Dragon Pup with a focus on using inverted commas for direct speech. This week we have also been identifying different types of prepositions.
In Maths, we have been revising properties of shapes and playing a game related to this. This week, we have been using the grid method to multiply 2 digit numbers.
In Science, we have written a newspaper article about Mary Anning and her amazing fossil discoveries.
Finally, in Art we have been weaving pieces of paper to create an effective design that could be used to make a range of products.
