Good morning girls and boys,
This week, your Learning Project is all about Sport. I am sure that you will all enjoy it as there are some fantastic activities planned. I love the idea of writing a biography of a sports star that I love. I would probably choose Roger Federer my favorite tennis player.
I hope you enjoy your learning this week. Stay safe.
Good morning girls and boys! Today at 10:00am we are going to be meeting on Microsoft Teams. I am really excited to see you all and hear you talk about the item you have decided to show! Hope to see you all then!
Good morning Year Six.
As you all know, the Learning Project this week is all about celebration. Celebration is a really interesting topic because people around the world celebrate some really unusual things. Have a look at this website to see some of the weird and wonderful things that people around the world celebrate.
The man. The master. The marvel. Salvador Dalí is one of the most celebrated artists of all time. His fiercely technical yet highly unusual paintings, sculptures and visionary explorations in film and life-size interactive art welcomed a new generation of imaginative expression. From his personal life to his professional endeavours, he always took great risks and proved how rich the world can be when you dare to embrace pure, boundless creativity.
Read more about Dali. By visiting the Tate.
Salvador Dalí made paintings, sculptures and films about the dreams he had. He painted melting clocks and floating eyes, clouds that look like faces and rocks that look like bodies. Why not try and draw something that you have dreamt recently.
Good morning boys and girls, I hope that you are all well and have had a productive week.
Those of you who keep up to date with world news will have noticed a shift from the constant Covid-19 updates.
All around the world people have been holding protests to fight for a more equal society. A society where people are treated fairly and people have the same opportunities as one another. You are the future! Your views on important issues such as racism and equality will shape our future society. You can make the world a better place. It is important that you learn about how some groups of people are treated and what we can all do to help.
I would like you all to read the information on this website. We will be discussing this issue more when we return to school and it would be helpful for you to have an understanding of what has happened so far.
Good morning girls and boys.
I was getting quite used to beautiful sunshine every day and spending time outside, but it looks like I will be spending today inside. I have some work to keep me busy today but after that I have some free time so I think I am going to start a new book.
To keep you busy today why not try one of these scientific investigations. Have fun!
